This was a Spectacular Unit with access to some of the best restaurants in Lafayette. We were close to everyone we wanted to visit. I will stay there again for sure. Michelle was a fantastic host.

Michelle was a perfect host with easy accessibility. She maintains her property with a classy taste in decorating with a sense of warmth and comfort. We were delighted to learn that it was an end unit so it afforded additional privacy as well as a private view of the sunsets from her well manicured lawn complete with beautiful foliage and comfortable furniture. In this particular rental, the pictures simply do not do it justice as her place is simply magnificent. Just perfect for a long shopping weekend in Lafayette, or simply some R&R.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Michelle's townhome. The accomodations were lovely. The reclining sofa was extremly comfy and both bedrooms were cool, clean, spacious and welcoming. I highly recommend booking this "home away from home" when visiting in the Lafayette area. Michelle is very flexible, easy going and available for anything you may need.

Michelle,

I would like to say thank you for accommodating me at the Long Plantation Suites. The apartment style setting is conveniently located in the heart of Lafayette in such a peaceful and isolated vicinity. The environment allowed easy access to every creature comfort I required during my stay including the walking trails nearby the neighborhood.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a short or long term stay to consider these units at Long Plantation Suites as they are fully furnished, peaceful, modern which allows you to live as you would in your on home.

Michelle is great to work with and her pricing is beyond fair for what is offered in apartment 210I. She runs a mature business and the place was so clean and easy to maintain during my few weeks stay. You will not be disappointed and will appreciate the atmosphere of the neighborhood.

The Master BR had the best bed of any property we have stayed.  Both BRs have plenty of storage & are spacious.  Kitchen well appointed, great living room couch that reclines, nice large w/d.  Full & ½ bath a little tight & small but workable.  Nice patio with chairs, front yard wellkept & 2 parking spots at front door.  Quiet neighborhood close to shopping, restaurants.  Michelle really wanted us to enjoy our stay.

Michelle is a most accommodating host.  I found her town home very comfortable.  The furnishing truly attests to its upscale listing.  The WiFi had good reception and the Direct TV channels even included my favorite.... the Big Ten Channel.  Location is very important to me and I found grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants to be in proximity.  It is located in upmarket area of Lafayette being close to fine dining and the exclusive River Ranch development.  If you like the fresh air, Michelle's unit provides a nice landscaped green area with seating and a portable grill.  One last note:  The bed.  I will miss those good night sleeps.

My husband and I truly enjoyed living in this darling townhome!   It was our most successful VRBO rental in our lives!!!!!  It was super clean, and the decor was lovely.  The kitchen was fully stocked along with toilet paper and laundry detergent.  Michelle, the owner, was super and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable!!!!!!

I was happy to easily find such a nice and safe to rent when I came to town for a new job.  Getting everything setup in advance went smoothly and simply.  When I arrived the house was in great shape and had everything and more than I was expecting.  The master bed was awesomely comfortable and the master and house in general was quiet and peaceful.  Worth my time and money for sure especially being near so much while safe and quiet.  I You will not go wrong renting this place.

My family and I stayed at Long Plantation for three months.  We could not have been more satisfied with the attention to detail of this townhome.  The decor was beautiful.  The townhome was spotlessly clean.  We had very nice amenities such as the pool and covered parking, not to mention upgraded appliances.  This townhome is in the center of LAFAYETTE, and within walking distance of very nice shops and restaurants.  The best part was how quiet and peaceful the location was.  We could not have been more comfortable or taken care of anywhere else.  Thank you for taking care of my family!

I have to say we were really pleased with the apartment.  The location is perfect and the apartment itself was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated.  The area is quiet and so close to shopping, dining and entertainment.  We did have a problem with one of the TVs, but it was replaced by the next morning.  Couldn’t have asked for better.

We found the unit perfect for us during our three months stay while our home was being completely remodeled.  It is conveniently located near major shopping centers and restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet, secure neighborhood.  Michelle could not have been a more gracious host and responded quickly to the few minor problems that arose.  The fullsize washer and dryer were also great, especially with an extended stay such as ours.  We would not hesitate to stay here again if the need arose.

My wife and I stayed in Condo 210 H at Long Plantation Suites.

The communication from Michele Barker John from whom we rented the condo was excellent while we were going through the rental process, meeting with us upon our arrival, and during our stay was excellent.  She made us feel welcome, as well as making us feel that if any problems arose, she would take care of it promptly.

The condo is in an excellent location as it is practically a part of River Ranch which is a modern, upscale area with practically anything you would need, and enjoy.  It is in an excellent location to allow you to get to all areas of Lafayette with ease.  The covered parking was nice to have and was only a few steps from the front door!  The condo is very nicely furnished and was very clean.  It was nice having television in the living area and bedroom.

I would recommend, without hesitation, to anyone looking for a nice, convenient condo to highly consider this location.

I travel for business and take my family of four with me.  We stayed with Miss Michelle for 10 weeks and we loved our experience.

The house was very clean and had all the amenities that anyone would want or need in their home.  The courtyard in the back was comfortable, the community pool was great, and the neighbors were friendly.

Miss Michelle also went above and beyond in making sure everyone was on the same page and our needs were taken care of.  I would recommend booking with her, whether you are only staying in town for a short time or for extended stays.

I have stayed here at long plantation suites on work assignment from May 2020 until August 2020.  I have really enjoyed my time here.  I stayed in Unit H, which is single level (no stairs which makes it nice).  I loved the way it was furnished inside and outside, most especially the covered outdoor patio where I could sit and drink my coffee and smoke outside.  You have plenty of privacy so you can stay in your robe too.  The owner, Michelle was very attentive and responded immediately to any issues I encountered, including getting an AC repair man to come out on a hot Sunday night to fix a minor problem with the AC.  I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Lafayette.  It is nearby River Ranch and close to every store and restaurant you could imagine.  I hope I get assigned here again so I can come back for another stay here.

Recently, I rented one of Mrs. Michelle’s furnished units and it was an amazing experience.  It was extremely clean with modern/updated finishes throughout.  The flexsteel leather couch in the living room was super comfortable.  The master bedroom was equipped with a freestanding AC unit which made it super cold and comfortable at night.  The king size bed was perfect.  All the kitchen utensils and cookware were provided.  I spent a lot of my time outside on the back patio.  There is a bar b que pit, a pretty waterfall, and covered patio furniture which made it the perfect spot to entertain my company.  The location is super convenient.  It was located across the street from river ranch, shopping, restaurants, and more.  Mrs. Michelle is always quick to make sure you are taken care of.  I loved my stay at Plantation Townhomes!

Long Plantation Suites is the perfect solution for temporary housing.  It is a fully furnished condominium with all the amenities needed to live and function comfortably.  My husband and I recently relocated from Florida to Lafayette and to make the transition easier we leased a twobedroom townhouse for two months.  This allowed us to a have a convenient, safe and well managed place to stay while house hunting and during the time lapse between the sale of our Florida home and the purchase of our Lafayette home.  It was significantly less expensive than typical corporate apartments and Michelle, the owner, was very professional in insuring that everything was as it should be.

This was by far the nicest unit I've ever stayed in while traveling.  The host, Michelle, was great to deal with and took care of everything for us.  The town home was immaculately clean, nicely decorated and beds were very comfy.  I really liked the backyard area with the grill and the waterfall feature...nice touch!

Another couple came over to meet us Sunday and we grilled some steaks outside for lunch.  All the dishes and cooking utensils we needed were already furnished so we didn't have to buy anything.  We all went to the pool which was very nice and hung out for a while there.  I would definitely book this place again.

July 14, 2019  Amazing Townhome!!!
My wife and I stayed here for a little over a month for her job training.  I would much rather stay in a townhome like this going forward instead of a hotel room.  It was very peaceful, nice furniture and exceptionally clean.  I loved all the festivals and things to do around Lafayette.  The food around here is so good, you can’t get a bad meal anywhere!!!!  The owner was very nice, and she met us in person to make sure we were satisfied with everything.  We will definitely stay here again.

I was travelling to Lafayette for a project and was able to get the lease signed before I got down there.  The place was clean and fully furnished and located in a fancy part of town.  I was a huge fan of the furniture in the living room, especially the sofa.  Michelle is a great landlord.

I stayed here while training for a new position with my company.  The ground level 2bedroom 2 bath was so luxurious!  Everything was clean & spacious.  The private fenced in courtyard was wonderful to relax after a long day of work.  The location of this property was close to all the different festivals and the fantastic local restaurants.  The fact that they had 24hour security made me feel very safe.  If I ever need to come back to Lafayette, I'll definitely stay here!
